On the 2nd May 2004 our beautiful daughter, Amber Rose Hardy, was born. Bringing with her this massive, overwhelming, power of love & feeling of pride that she is ours.
For the next nine years she filled our lives with love, joy, laughter, excitement, challenges, fun, adventure, noise & i'll say it again so much pride
Then after a very short illness, what was believed to be just a simple virus, Amber lost her life to meningitis, (Meningococcal septicaemia). Leaving us all devastated & heart broken.
Amber was such a loving, caring, witty, noisy & playful girl. who was growing up to be such an individual with a beautiful mind of her own. She also cherished all her family & friends, especially her little sister, Emily.
We all miss you so much sweet heart.

Since losing Amber we have learnt a lot about meningitis & know there is still a lot more to learn; So in memory of Amber we feel it is important to share our experience & continue to build awareness into meningitis. Also by doing sponsored & fundraising events, this will help with much needed funds, support & aid in the campaign to get available vaccinations out there.
Losing Amber has left a big gaping hole in our lives & it is so quiet, we feel we need to do this to try & prevent it happening to others.
We would like to thank everyone so far for all their support & continued support. Also thank all those that are willing to help in the future.
Please everyone feel free to leave your thoughts, messages to Amber, donations & fundraising events/ideas on this page.
We believe this time it will be Amber who would be proud of us all.
DOUBLE GOODNIGHT SWEETHEART
